A Bit of Lovely Giveaway

I’ve mentioned a couple of times that hard shoes on a baby are a bit of pain in the ass (in my opinion) but you often want to have something on their feet. Whether it’s to keep them warm or just because it’s just about the cutest thing on earth (besides a baby bunny belly) it’s nice to have good footwear.

That’s why I nearly melted when I saw these precious little slippers made by a gal named, Ruthann in her Etsy shop called A Bit of Lovely. I’ve taken the name of naming all her shoes because I can’t help it – I think it’s a sickness.

Check it out:

Buttercup and Heather Slippers: If you don’t want me grabbing your baby’s feet then don’t put her in these. I have no doubt I would keep making a “moop, moop” noise when I squeezed them too.

Candy Toes Slippers: It’s the buttons that got me. Oh man, I love those buttons.

Kung-Fu Blue Shoes: Oh don’t think the girls are the only ones that can get in on the snazzy footwear. I should also point out that Ruthann has three little boys so she knows her dude duds.

Giddy Up Guthrie’s: I love that a little creative colour combo and two sweet, little stars can make a pair of regular booties into something so special.

Can’t Go Wrong Thong: Okay, these flip flops made me laugh. How fun are they? I think they’d go great with some Bermuda shorts or a sundress.

Ruthann also does some great headbands, hats, dresses and blankets. Clearly she is a crocheting fool – whereas I can’t spell “crochet” let alone do it. So let’s take advantage of her talent, shall we?

Two lucky winners will win a $30 gift certificate to A Bit of Lovely. All you have to do is check out the site and let me know what you would use your gift certificate for and leave it in the comments here. I’ll draw two random winners next Wednesday (September 19th).

You can also find Ruthann on Facebook, Twitter and her blog.

Good luck!
