Tea Sparrow is North America’s first monthly tea club! It’s both a tea critiquing club and a monthly subscription service. Co-owners Michael and Ariella are new parents themselves and avid Pregnant Chicken readers.
Six reasons you (or someone you know) will love Tea Sparrow:
- Michael and Ariella host bi-weekly tea parties at their home in Vancouver* where members and tea sommeliers sample and score teas sent to them by blenders from around the world. They only sample teas that are free from artificial ingredients. Each month, members receive the 4 highest rated loose-leaf teas that have been tea party-approved. This way, you know you’re getting something that’s loved by lots of people.
Tea Sparrow lets you easily pause, re-start or cancel your subscription at any time.
When your clothes, hair, walls and floors are all covered in spit-up and dried milk and your house is filled with bouncy chairs, playmats and dirty diapers, they think you should at least be able to enjoy a tasty cup of tea to lift the fog (at least a little) in the morning. And afternoon. And (probably) evening.
Teas Sparrow sends you four sample-size pouches of tea (each pouch is enough to make 4-12 cups of tea, depending on how strong you like it) to Canada and the U.S. and all shipping and taxes are included in the $20/month subscription fee.
While the standard box contains one sample pouch each of black, green/oolong, rooibos and herbal, upon request, they will gladly send you an all-herbal tea box if you’re avoiding caffeine.
Tea Sparrow also makes a great gift! Gift memberships run at $25 for 1 month, $60 for 3 months or $120 for 6 months.
